NPC has managed to preserve the verdant surroundings. In 2006, it started introducing other amenities and facilities attune to its environmentally rich area. Some added attractions are the Butterfly and Orchid Garden, wall climbing, zipline, tree climbing, picnic cabanas and a lot more.
From the gate of NPC Nature's Park to Agus VI Hydro-electric power plant where one can view the waterfalls is an 800-meter walk. But vehicles can enter the compound. The Park is open to the public daily from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. except when NPC issues an advisory of non-admittance.
