Anahaw Amphi-Theater

Built in 1956, Anahaw Open Amphi-Theater is nestled atop Buhanginan Hill (130 feet above sea level).  Claimed to be the largest open amphi-theater in Mindanao.

This is where the usual Kasadya Street Dancing final showdown takes place during the Diyandi Festival sa Iligan every year.

This is also where the city government employees hold their flag raising ceremony every Monday.

Aptly called Anahaw Open Amphi-theater because of the Anahaw planted on the sides and the shape of the amphi-theater is based on the Anahaw leaf.
